3Desk (“we”, “us”) provides an AI-assisted video production platform at https://3desk.net. This policy explains what personal data we process, why, and your rights under GDPR and similar laws.

Sign-in (Google)

Sign-in uses Google OAuth. We receive your Google account email, display name, and a provider identifier from Google. We do not receive or store your Google password. Authentication is handled by Google under Google’s Privacy Policy.

Data we collect

  • Account: email and display name from Google, plan and storage quota.
  • Billing: wallet balance, transactions, generation usage and costs.
  • Projects: project metadata, scenarios, generated images, audio, and video you create.
  • Technical: session cookies, server logs, rate-limit counters.

How we use data

  • Provide and improve the 3Desk service.
  • Bill for AI generation usage and manage your wallet.
  • Secure accounts and prevent abuse.
  • Meet legal obligations (e.g. tax and accounting retention for billing).

Retention

  • Active account: data kept while your account exists.
  • Deleted account: personal and project files are removed; billing records are anonymized and archived for up to 10 years where required by law.
  • Engine debug logs: archived on project delete, purged after 90 days.

Your rights

  • Access & portability: Settings → Account → Export my data (ZIP).
  • Erasure: Settings → Account → Delete account (permanent; billing archive anonymized).
  • Rectification: update your display name in Google or contact us.
  • Object / restrict: contact us for requests we cannot handle in-app.

Data requests (DSAR)

For privacy questions or formal data subject access requests, email privacy@3desk.net. We respond within 30 days where GDPR applies.

Processors & transfers

Sign-in is processed by Google. AI generation may use third-party APIs (e.g. cloud LLM, image, video providers). We send only the data needed to fulfil your generation requests. We do not sell personal data.

Content ownership

  • Your outputs: your scenario (screenplay/story), images, video, audio, and rendered projects you generate in 3Desk belong to you. You may use and export them for your projects, subject to any terms of the underlying AI providers.
  • Prompts & engine: prompts compiled and produced by the 3Desk engine — including image prompts, audio prompts, video prompts, and similar generation instructions — are proprietary to 3Desk. They are not transferred to you as standalone intellectual property; you receive a license to use them only within the service to produce your project outputs.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in after Google authentication. No advertising trackers. See our Cookie Policy.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be noted here with a new “Last updated” date.
